Manuela is professor and researcher at Arts & Design Department of PUC-Rio. She teaches in both undergraduate and graduate Design courses, focusing in human centered design. Her research topics of interest include: ergodesign; user centered design; product and human-computer interaction usability; automotive design and ergonomics; and interaction design.

University professor and researcher with digital media experience and focus on mobile computing technologies, user interfaces and webdesign. Vera DamazioVera Damazio

Doctor in Social Science, master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and designer.  Vera is one of the pioneers in the field of Emotional Design in Brazil. Professor at PUC-Rio since 1985, member of the Undergraduate and Graduate Program in Design, she coordinates the project Brazilian Graphic Memory (PROCAD/CAPES) and the Laboratory Design, Memory and Emotion (LABMEMO-PUC-Rio), a space for research and development of products and services with focus on the exercise of citizenship and living well in society. Founding member of the Design Net, Association of Jesuit Universities of Latin America (AUSJAL).

 joaoBonelliJoão Bonelli

João Bonelli is a designer working in Interaction Design and Physical Computing. He is a teacher and researcher in the Undergraduate Design Program at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro – PUC-Rio, in Brazil. Bonelli has a Master’s Degree from New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program and is a fourth year Ph.D. student at PUC-Rio.
